Deng Xiaoping led the Chinese delegation to the 6th Special Session of the United Nations General Assembly. On April 10, Deng Xiaoping elaborated at the Session on Mao Zedong’s theory of “Three Worlds” and China’s foreign policies.
August 1
The CPC Central Military Commission issued an order naming the first nuclear submarine designed and produced by China Changzheng-1 and putting it into commission. The Chinese navy entered a new stage of possessing nuclear submarines.
