The speech states, “Treating each other as equals and seeking common ground while shelving differences, taking a results-oriented, innovative approach to mutually beneficial cooperation, and keeping in mind the world as a whole and developing ourselves to help others are what the BRICS spirit is all about. They are the shared values that have bound our cooperation over the past decade. BRICS cooperation has now reached a crucial stage of development. The BRICS countries should jointly usher in a second “golden decade” of BRICS cooperation. We should boost BRICS cooperation, fulfill our responsibility as BRICS countries, and increase the influence of BRICS. We should let our cooperation deliver more benefits to the peoples of our five countries and let the benefits of global peace and development reach all people in the world.”
