History serves as the finest textbook.

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Xi Jinping has delivered a series of insightful statements on the history of the CPC. These statements systematically recount the Party’s glorious journey leading the Chinese people in unyielding struggles, deeply summarize the theoretical achievements, invaluable experiences, and the great spirit fostered by the Party across different historical periods. They also profoundly articulate the Party’s significant contributions to the Chinese nation and the Chinese wisdom and approaches it offers for addressing global issues, while envisioning a bright future for the Party and the people’s cause. These statements, rich in content and profound in thought, serve as crucial guides for us to thoroughly understand the Party’s history, strengthen the Four Consciousnesses, consolidate the Four-Sphere Confidence, adhere to the Two Upholds, secure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, embark on a new journey to build a modern socialist country in all respects, and realize the Chinese Dream of National Rejuvenation.

To facilitate a deeper understanding of Xi Jinping’s significant statements on the Party’s history among officials and the public, we have compiled these statements into this current volume.

This volume includes forty manuscripts from Xi Jinping on the history of the CPC since the 18th CPC National Congress, some of which are being published here for the first time.
