Xi Jinping has delivered a series of profound statements on youth and Communist Youth League work, characterized by visionary perspectives, rich connotations, and deep insights. These statements thoroughly discuss major theoretical and practical issues concerning youth and Communist Youth League work in the new context, illuminating the historical mission and growth path of contemporary youth. They are of immense guiding significance for accurately understanding the basic requirements and key tasks of youth and Communist Youth League work, inspiring young people to establish grand aspirations, uphold and practice core socialist values, educating League members to reinforce the Four Consciousnesses, and enhance their sense of advancement and honor, and mobilizing the vast majority of young people to diligently study and work hard for achieving the Two Centenary Goals and the Chinese Dream of National Rejuvenation.

To assist all levels of the League organizations and League members in comprehensively and systematically learning, understanding, and mastering Xi Jinping's important statements on youth and Communist Youth League work, and to further deepen the educational practice of “Studying the General Secretary's Speech and Being a Qualified Communist Youth League Member,” we have compiled this current volume.

The content of this volume is drawn from 44 significant documents, including speeches, lectures, instructions, congratulatory messages, and replies by Xi Jinping from November 29, 2012, to May 3, 2017. It is organized into eight topics, totaling 189 key statements, several of which are being published here for the first time.
