They deeply articulate the core ideas, principal content, and fundamental requirements of the path of socialist political progress with Chinese characteristics. These statements hold immense guiding significance for further reinforcing political confidence, boosting the confidence and determination to follow the path of socialist political development with Chinese characteristics, incessantly advancing the self-improvement and development of the socialist political system, modernizing the system and capabilities for governance, achieving the Two Centenary Goals, and realizing the Chinese Dream of National Rejuvenation.

To assist officials and the public in studying, understanding, and mastering Xi Jinping's important statements on socialist political progress, we have compiled this current volume.

The content of this volume, drawn from over 70 important documents including speeches, reports, conversations, and instructions by Xi Jinping from November 15, 2012, to May 3, 2017, is organized into nine topics, comprising a total of 330 statements, many of which are being published here for the first time.
