Editor's Note

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the Party Central Committee, with Xi Jinping as General Secretary, has, from the perspective of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, proposed and established the strategy making comprehensive moves to finish building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, deepen reform, advance law-based governance, and strengthen Party self-governance. This has set the strategic objectives and measures for the Party and the country's tasks in the new context, providing theoretical guidance and a practical roadmap for achieving the Two Centenary Goals and realizing the Chinese Dream of National Rejuvenation. The series of significant statements by Xi Jinping on implementing the four-pronged comprehensive strategy are visionary, rich in content, and profound in thought. They hold great instructive significance for thoroughly understanding the major importance of this strategy, systematically apprehending its scientific implications and overarching requirements, and effectively putting it into practice.

To assist officials and the public in thoroughly and systematically learning, understanding, and applying Xi Jinping's significant insights on the four-pronged comprehensive strategy, we have compiled this current volume.

The content of this volume is drawn from over 110 key documents, including speeches, reports, directives, and instructions by Xi Jinping from November 15, 2012, to September 3, 2015. It is divided into six topics, comprising a total of 287 topics. Some of the expositions are being published here for the first time.
