Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Xi Jinping has proposed and profoundly expounded on the Chinese Dream of National Rejuvenation. The Chinese Dream vividly expresses the common aspirations of all Chinese people, heralding a promising future of national prosperity, national rejuvenation, and people's wellbeing. It injects new connotations and the spirit of the times into upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics.

To help officials and the public comprehensively and systematically learn, understand, and grasp Xi Jinping's significant statements on the Chinese Dream, we have compiled this current volume.

The content of this volume is excerpted from more than 50 important documents, including speeches, talks, letters, and instructions made by Xi Jinping from November 15, 2012, to November 2, 2013, with a total of 146 statements. Some of the statements are being here published for the first time.
