The speech states, “As open and inclusive principles of international law, the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence embody the values of sovereignty, justice, democracy, and the rule of law. They have become basic norms of international relations and basic principles of international law; effectively protected the rights and interests of the developing world; and played a positive role in building a fairer, more equal, and more rational international political and economic order. We should discuss how to better promote them under new circumstances, to press for the establishment of a new kind of international relations, and to come together in building a better world through win-win cooperation.”
