The speech states, “The Paris Agreement should facilitate meeting the goals of the UNFCCC and chart a course for green development, help concentrate global efforts and encourage broad participation, help increase commitments to ensure action, and accommodate the different national conditions of each country and emphasize practical results. Worldwide efforts against climate change allow us to draw valuable inspiration for thinking about and exploring future models of global governance, and for building a human community with a shared future. We should create a future of mutually beneficial cooperation in which each country can contribute to the best of its ability, a future that upholds the rule of law, fairness, and justice, and a future of inclusiveness, mutual learning, and shared development.”
