The speech states, “It is my hope that the Hangzhou Summit can build on the foundations already laid to produce a prescription that treats both symptoms and root causes, and puts the world economy on a path of strong, sustainable, balanced, and inclusive growth. In the face of these challenges, the G20 should not only move with the times, honor its commitments, be built into a platform of cooperation in the spirit of shared development for mutual benefit, meet challenges together, keep the world economy moving in the direction of prosperity and stability, and help bring about strong, sustainable, balanced, and inclusive growth of the world economy.”
